| The Dharmapalan
Estate is located on a stunning 500-acre
property nestled in the exclusive
High Valley appellation in Lake County,
California. Jacqueline and Jonathan
Dharmapalan sought out this pristine,
fertile and untouched land and then
planted 130 acres to vineyard in 1999.
Today, their viticultural dream has
come true with the release of the
select and highly- sought small production
Dharma wines.
The vineyards are situated on hillsides
at elevations ranging from 2,000 to
2,400 feet and were immaculately planned
and developed to the highest standards
of modern viticulture. Rootstock and
clones were carefully matched to the
site, soil, weather and varietal.
Enchanting, exotic and unique,
the Dharma labels are printed on Thai
silk with original art that honors
the Dharmapalan heritage and illustrates
the beautiful, feminine qualities
that their wines possess. Crafted
by renowned winemaker Barry Gnekow,
the single-vineyard Dharma Wines are
the realization of beauty and a natural
expression of the distinct terroir
of California’s High Valley Appellation.
